3 The final masterpiece
The project The Salt Bride is a series of 8 life size photographs of the dress submerged in the Dead Sea. It is inspired by S. Ansky’s 1916 play titled Dybbuk. It tells the story of a young Hasidic woman who becomes possessed by an evil spirit of her deceased lover and Landau’s salted dress is the replica of the dress worn by the actress during the dramatic portrayal in 1920s. the 8 photograph series is currently on exhibition in London.
