Genius or stupid! Kids use fake calculator apps to hide photos from their parents

In today’s world of technology, privacy is a thing that gets laughed at just at its mention by someone. Nothing is supposed to be private from anything or anybody and that’s the premise when parents so trustingly buy their kids smartphones for their use. There will be nothing hidden from the parents whether it is text messages, videos or photos.

But kids and especially teens who are born and brought up in the age of smartphones and smarter technology have found out a way to circumvent this stipulation using some of the most creatively coded apps present on the iPhone’s app store or the Android’s play store.

A district attorney finally posted a video on her Facebook page unveiling the trickery behind hiding photos and things teems don’t want their parents to find out behind some innocuous apps. Find out what kind of apps they are and how photos are hidden in them (not the exact process!).

An Alabama district attorney, Pamela Casey, posted video warning parents about the “Calculator%” app for iPhone.

“I encourage you to look at your child’s phone,” she said. “If one child knows about it, many children know about it.”

You might have seen this app icon on your kid’s iPhone, but if you have, it’s time to check what’s underneath the app, as it is not just a calculator app. It is actually a photo vault app that lets users to store their images, texts and other secret stuff using s passcode or password.
